Wastee stores your inventory locally on your device. The app requires no account, shows no advertising, uses no tracking, and contains no analytics SDKs.

Data on your device
Inventory items, locations, notes, saved dates, shopping list, reminders, exported files, and optional personal item photos are stored on your device. Wastee does not upload your personal photos.
Barcode help and Open Food Facts
If you scan a barcode, Wastee can send it to Open Food Facts to look up product name, category, and product-image information. Technically necessary connection data is processed for that request. Results can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable. Manual entry works without this lookup.
Open Food Facts images
When Open Food Facts returns a product image, Wastee can save the image URL and a bounded local copy. Open Food Facts or its image hosting can receive technical request information and the image path. Your own local photo takes priority in the app.
Date and photo recognition
Date recognition runs on your device. Recognized text is used only to suggest a date. Camera or photo access is not required for manual entry.
Permissions
Wastee can request camera or photo access for scan and photo features you start, and notifications for local reminders. Permissions are requested only when needed for the selected feature.
Purchases
Premium purchases and restoration are handled through Apple StoreKit and the App Store. Apple processes Apple ID, transaction, and purchase information. Wastee does not operate its own payment backend.
No advertising or tracking
Wastee does not sell or share your inventory, notes, photos, shopping list, or reminders with advertising or analytics services and does not use this data for tracking.
Export, deletion, and your rights
CSV exports are created locally. You can reset local app data in Settings or delete the app. For access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or another privacy request, use the contact above.
Website hosting
The related website pages are delivered through Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes technically necessary traffic data such as IP address, requested URL, time, browser information, and security signals to deliver and protect the site. Wehlflix does not add analytics, advertising, forms, or tracking scripts to these pages.
