Klangraum Support

Choose Plex in Klangraum and start sign-in. Plex's official PIN flow opens in the browser. Sign in there, confirm your 2FA code if required, and approve the device link. Klangraum does not ask for your Plex password or 2FA code. You can then select the audio libraries to use.

Enter the complete server address, such as https://jellyfin.example.com. Then use Quick Connect or sign in with your username and password. Quick Connect replaces only password entry, not the server address. If it fails, confirm in Jellyfin that Quick Connect is enabled for your account.

Choose Audiobookshelf and enter the complete server address and your username. You can sign in with your password or use an API token. For password sign-in, Klangraum sends the password directly to your server and then stores the access and refresh tokens issued by Audiobookshelf in the iOS Keychain, not the password. You can then select the approved audio libraries to use.

Choose OpenSubsonic, enter a name, and provide the server address, username, and password or API key. The address must point to the server, not an individual audio file. Features can vary by server version.

Allow iOS Local Network access when your server is at home. Use a correctly configured HTTPS address away from home. HTTP transmits sign-in details and media without encryption and requires explicit approval in Klangraum; use it only on a trusted local network.

Check that the server is running, the address and port are correct, and the iPhone can reach it on the current network. Firewall, DNS, VPN, certificates, and missing remote access can block the connection. Private server addresses work away from home only through a secure connection you configure.

Open Server & Accounts and sync again when new tracks, metadata, or artwork are missing. Under Audio Libraries, verify that the collection is enabled and included in global search. Placeholders cannot replace metadata missing from the server.

Klangraum prefers original quality. If the source, iPhone, or server does not allow it, the provider may supply transcoding or another source. For interruptions, check server load, network, the selected quality, and audio output. Bluetooth and AirPlay routes are managed by iOS.

A track is considered offline only after the download has been fully validated and stored locally. For failures, check free device storage, cellular permission, and provider rights. Offline Mode avoids unnecessary provider requests.

Import your own files under Settings → Local Music. Klangraum copies selected files into its protected app area. Optional Apple Music Library access is used only after permission and can be revoked in iOS Settings.

Open Settings → Klangraum Pro and tap Restore Purchases. Use the Apple ID from the original purchase. Apple handles the purchase and restoration; Klangraum receives only the verified entitlement state.

You can remove a connection under Server & Accounts. Credentials and local library data for that server are deleted; if offline files exist, you decide whether they should also be removed. History and downloads can be managed separately.
